Our professional chefs and dedicated sommeliers are available throughout your stay to tempt you to our Tuscan table and share in our love for Italian food and wine.  Whether it be for breakfasts, lunches or dinners or grand banquets and celebrations, our food philosophy is a simple one – the very best of fresh, local seasonal ingredients prepared to perfection by our chefs.  To compliment menus, the Coselli Collection has its own private wine cellar offering a selection of renowned Italian wines and our professional sommeliers are available for tastings and adventures through Tuscan wine country.

CHEF / MEAL SERVICE: Our professional chefs and service staff can be booked for meals in your villa.  Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, all food is freshly prepared on site and our service team ensure you can sit back, relax and enjoy great home-cooking in the good company of family and friends.

COOKING LESSONS: Our kitchen is always open to guests so why not join our chef in a hands-on cooking lesson and discover the secrets of the Tuscan table.  We offer personalised morning or afternoon hands-on lessons which are followed by a fully serviced 3 course lunch or dinner with house wine.  Aprons and recipes are provided.  If you have a penchant for decadent desserts, learn the tips and tricks of a pastry chef through hands-on experience of cakes, tarts, profiteroles, sponges, mousses, petites-fours and chocolate truffles!

PRATO DEL SOLE SUN GARDEN BBQ: Each Wednesday evening we gather together as one large Italian family at a special BBQ evening which is open for all guests in residence.  It is held in our Prato del Sole Sun Garden next to the children’s play park and tables are set aside for each of the villas. Lively musical entertainment is provided and children will enjoy fun and games with Giorgia, our children’s entertainer.

WINE AND CHEESE TASTING AT THE VILLA: A professional sommelier offers a selection of enticing tasting sessions to stimulate the senses and open up a world of Italian living.  Wines are complimented by a tasting of  Tuscan and Italian cheeses.

WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTING AT THE ENOTECA VANNI CELLARS: A professional sommelier will arrange a special visit to the wine cellars of Enoteca Vanni in Lucca (rated the third best wine cellar in Italy) for a tasting of Italian wines and olive oils.

LUCCA AND THE MONTECARLO VINEYARDS: Spend a leisurely morning or afternoon discovering the rolling Lucchese hills as you travel towards the medieval fortress of Montecarlo where many renowned Lucchese wines are produced.

A CHIANTI WINE EXPERIENCE:  Travel further afield to an area of great and ancient wine-making tradition set in the rolling Chianti hills around the small market town of Greve with a specially organised wine tasting and lunch at a renowned castle estate followed in the afternoon by a further wine-tasting with one of Italy’s most important producers.  Our sommelier will help you get the most of your day by taking you on a discovery of market towns and local produce.

BOLGHERI SUPERTUSCAN TASTING: An area famed for its excellent production of Cabernet and Merlot and home to many of world renowned SuperTuscans.  One of Italy’s finest poets, Giosuè Carducci was enamoured by the medieval village of Bolgheri with its cypress lined road leading up from the sea. Your day includes 2 wine-tastings at prominent estates and a specially organised Tuscan lunch.
